he Journal of Legal Information (JLI)—bearing e-ISSN XXXX-XXXX and p-ISSN XXXX-XXXX—is a publication under the auspices of the Cahaya Budaya Indonesia Education Foundation that publishes scholarly articles in the fields of Law and Human Rights..
Focus and Scope
Fokus
As a medium dedicated to fostering the exchange of ideas among academics, researchers, and practitioners, JLI focuses on research concerning Law and Human Rights. It is published twice a year—in October and April—covering the following scope:
Scope
Legal Theory, Civil Law, Administrative Law, Indonesian Law, Philosophy of Law, State Administrative Law, Criminal Law, International Law, Religious Law, Philosophy of Law, and others.
Its scope is not limited to those fields alone. JLI also publishes research findings relevant to the fields of Law and Human Rights.

Review Construction in the Journal of Legal Information (JLI) |

All articles/manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Legal Information (JLI) must comply with the focus and scope as well as the writing guidelines. For more details, see here |

Articles/manuscripts accepted for processing must meet the journal's checklist. For further details, please see here |
|
3. |
The article/manuscript review process is divided into two stages: review by the Editor and by the Bestari Partners. |
|
4. |
The Editor's review process will involve checking the writing of articles. Only articles/manuscripts written in good and correct Indonesian or English and in accordance with the template will be approved. |
|
5. |
After the article/manuscript has been reviewed by the editor, the editor will then proceed to check the similarity of the article/manuscript using plagiarism detection software. |
|
6. |
Articles/manuscripts that have passed the review stage by the Editor will be reviewed again by 2 (two) Bestari Partners |
|
7. |
Articles/manuscripts will be reviewed by Bestari Partners within a maximum of 14 working days with double-blind peer review. |
|
8. |
The assessment process is completely based on the results of the Bestari Partner review assessment |
|
9. |
Revisions from peer reviewers will be processed no later than 7 days after the review is submitted. |

10. |
Submission of revisions that exceed the specified limit will be automatically rejected. |
|
11. |
Submitted articles/manuscripts must be scientifically sound and novel and original with a plagiarism level of <30% |
|
12. |
The final decision on acceptance of an article/manuscript is made solely by the Editorial Board, taking into account critical input from peer reviewers. |
|
13. |
Publication of accepted articles, including placement of articles in published issues, will be carried out by the Editor-in-Chief, taking into account the order of receipt, the geographical distribution of authors, and thematic issues. |
Archiving
Journal of Legal Information (JLI) uses the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and allows those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration purposes. Read more...
Publication Ethics
This statement of scientific publication ethics is a statement of the code of ethics for all parties involved in the publication process of this scientific journal, namely the administrators, editors, peer reviewers, and authors. The Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications essentially upholds three ethical values in publication:
- Neutrality, namely freedom from conflicts of interest in managing publications;
- Fairness, namely granting authorship rights to those entitled to be authors; and
- Honesty, namely freedom from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism (DF2P) in publications.
Plagiarism Check
Articles/manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Journal of Legal Information (JLI) will be filtered for similarity using an authentication application with the same level of maximum 30% when published.
Copyright Statement
By submitting an article/manuscript to the Journal of Legal Information (JLI), the author agrees to this policy without the need to sign a special document.

User Rights, is to distribute/publish articles/manuscripts non-commercially as regulated by: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/, JLI allows users to copy, distribute, display, and perform work for non-commercial purposes only. Users also need to attribute the author and JLI to distribute the work in journals and other publication media.
Author Rights, Authors retain all their rights to the published work, such as (but not limited to) the following rights; Copyright and other proprietary rights related to the article/manuscript, such as patent rights, The right to use the substance of the article/manuscript in one's own future work, including books, The right to reproduce the article for one's own purposes, The right to archive the article/manuscript, The right to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version of the article (e.g., posting it to an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in the JLI journal (Journal of Legal Information).
Co-Authorship, If the article is prepared jointly by more than one author, each author submitting the article/manuscript warrants that he/she has been authorized by all co-authors to agree to this copyright and license notice (agreement) on their behalf, and agrees to inform his/her co-authors of the terms of this policy. JUKPMTEK is not responsible for anything that may arise due to internal author disputes. JLI will only communicate with the author concerned.
Royalty, Being an open access journal and distributing articles for free under the terms of the Creative Commons license mentioned, the author is aware that JLI grants the author the right not to receive royalties or other fees.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Privacy Policy
The names and email addresses entered in this journal website will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
Processing Fee
Article processing fee: 150,000.00 (IDR), payable when due only after the author acknowledges that the manuscript has been accepted by the editorial team and is ready for publication. This fee is borne by the author or the funder, institution, or employer. Authors may request that an invoice be sent to the institution or funder.
